alpaca on the double

by Laura on January 15, 2007

Blue Sky Alpacas Sportweight is an incredibly soft and versatile yarn with over 30 colors to choose from. Sometimes, though, I want the lovely drape and warmth but without knitting at such a fine gauge. For this stripey scarf, I used the yarn doubled in 3 warm neutrals.

So attractive! So easy!

You’ll need 2 skeins each of three colors of sportweight and a US 10 40″circular needle.
Cast on 250 stitches with color#1.
Knit for 14 rows. Switch to color #2 and knit for 14 rows.
Do the same with color #3 and cast off loosely.

Wouldn’t it be fun in these combinations as well?

With this quick knit, the possibilities are endless! Enjoy!

I cannot see the first 1/2 inch of printing when I click on the free patterns. Is it something with
my computer or your layout?
