knitting for Sylvie Pearl

Susan is a generous knitter. She brought in her kids and her granddaughter before the holidays so that everyone could pick exactly what they wanted. And even now, after the holidays, she’s still knitting for them.

Drawstring Pants in Shepherd Worsted yarn
This is Susan’s granddaughter Sylvie Pearl taking a stroll in the adorable pants Susan knit her. She found the pattern, Baby’s Denim Drawstring Pants, in Last Minute Knitted Gifts and knit them with Lorna’s Laces Shepherd Worsted.

Amelie dress in Blue Sky Dyed Cotton yarn
Here’s Sylvie Pearl again, relaxing in her Amelie Dress knit with Blue Sky Alpaca’s Dyed Cotton. The pattern is from Louisa Harding’s Natural Knits for Babies and Mom’s.

Shepherd Worsted and Dyed Cotton are wonderful yarns for kids because they are soft, machine washable, and come in bright, fun colors.

We love the pants and the dress, Susan! Thanks for sharing!
