Joanna sent us this great photograph of her first pair of knit socks. She writes:
It was a cold and ugly rainy day in April and I was feeling a little down. I wanted to cheer up a little so I treated myself to some Yarn Therapy. I walked into Loop and walked out with two skeins of pretty blue Koigu.
Koigu’s KPPPM is great yarn for socks. Two hanks will make an average pair of socks; you’ll need 3 for larger sizes. Joanna followed Kate’s Gilbert Generic Sock Pattern and used the Magic Loop technique with a size 0 circular needle.
Joanna followed up this pair with 2 more and has socks planned as a holiday gift for her mother. “I think we can safely say I’ve become a Sock Knitter,” she writes. Sounds like it!
Thanks for sharing your project, Joanna!
