An Evening with Clara Parkes
We had a wonderful time last night with Clara Parkes. You could tell from the number of people who came with their own copy of The Knitter’s Book of Yarn just how popular it is. Unlike some books that you love at first, but then sit on your shelf, this is one you’ll come back to again and again.

Clara signed lots of books. Here she is (seated) with Marth.

And here’s Clara with Mindy and Lisa. Clara’s class this morning is full, but she’ll be in the shop for a little while if you’d still like to meet her.

I’m sorry I missed the party Friday night, but I had such a great time at the class. Thanks to Loop for hosting & Clara for speaking to us.

Hey Lisa, I’m glad you had fun on Friday! The test results came back and that *is* my Haiku sweater. Sorry I doubted you!
Vis Major, I’m glad you though the class was good. I did too!

Greetings from Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia!
Hello! I was in over a month or so ago to buy yarn and met Craig. I am so sorry that I missed this awesome event! I’m jealous!
I have arrived safely in Riyadh! I Before moving here, I thought there would be no need for warm projects in the middle of the desert. It turns out that most people here have air conditioners running full blast, so most indoor settings are freezing. Thankfully my wool yarns are still good. Anyway, onceI figure out the shipping situation here, you can expect a large order soon! I miss Philli and especially Loop. Congrats on the new shop!!! Again, it sucks that I can’t enjoy it in person!

Good to hear from you, Rabia! Glad you arrived safely.
We’ll be glad to see you again, but until then, let us know what we can send you!
