Introducing Koigu Mori Yarn

by Craig on April 11, 2008

This Spring, Koigu introduced a new yarn, Mori. It’s a fingering weight blend of merino and mulberry silk. Each 50 gram hank contains 185 yards. The combination of Koigu’s glorious colors and silk is stunning. The yarn just glows.

These are just a few of the 25 colors that arrived this afternoon. I brought a few home to swatch; I can’t wait to get this on my needles!

How gorgeous!!!
Can it be used for the Charlotte’s Web shawl or what else do you suggest using it for?

Beautiful – absolutely beautiful. It will make a gorgeous shawl.

Yes, Gail, Shirley’s right, Charlotte’s Web shawl would be gorgeous!

I started a scarf with 2 colors and a little drop stitch pattern that’s looking good. I also think Lace Ribbon Scarf on Knitty would be fantastic.

This yarn looks fabulous. When will the 25 colors be posted to your website, so that those of us who live in New York can order this yarn? Thanks.
