Loop on Ravelry

by Craig on January 3, 2009

You’re invited to join the Loop group find-button on Ravelry! Ravelry is an online community for knitters, crocheters, spinners, dyers, and designers. It’s in beta-testing now, but you can sign up for an invitation, which usually arrives in a few days.

As a member, you receive a free account where you can keep track of your yarn, needles, patterns, and projects. You can also see what others are making. If you have a yarn you like, you can see what’s been made with it. And if you have a pattern you like, you can see what yarns have been used. And, if that weren’t enough, there are hundreds of groups where you can discuss everything from crafting and cooking to entertainment and politics.

I’ve had a Ravelry account for a while, as have many of us at Loop. Yesterday, we formed our own group where we can stay in touch about what’s going on in the shop – in Philadelphia and online – and share our projects. If you’re on Ravelry now, I hope you’ll join us. If you’re not on Ravelry, I hope you’ll sign-up. It’s a fantastic resource.

See you there!

Hooray! And I love the idea of the monthly get-togethers!

Oh good! I’ll see you then. If not sooner!
