Author, designer, and teacher Beth Brown-Reinsel returns to Loop this Saturday and Sunday for a weekend of Scandinavian Knitting. Beth is an accomplished knitter and an excellent teacher. Her students always appreciate her patience during these advanced classes.

This year, Beth is teaching 3 classes: Norwegian Mittens, Latvian Wristers, and Norwegian Purl. The first two classes are for intermediate knitters who are comfortable working on double-pointed needles. The last class is for anyone who knits Continental and wants to learn a new way to purl. You can read the full class descriptions on the Classes page.

All 3 classes cover two-color knitting. It may seem intimidating, but with the techniques you’ll learn and a little practice, you’ll be on your way!

Registration for Beth’s classes is open, so call to reserve your space today!

I actually used 2 circulars when I took the class in Vermont last summer and didn’t have any problems. It was really fun.

I’m glad you mentioned that, Gail.

You can use double points, 2 circulars or magic loop for the classes. However you like to knit in the round is fine.
