After learning to knit, Rita decided to knit her grandson a sweater. She chose Minnowknits Confetti pattern, which is an adorable button-shoulder baby pullover with colorful checks and stripes, and Mission Falls 1824 Wool yarn. 1824 Wool is a good choice for kids because there are a lot of well-coordinated beautiful colors and it’s machine washable.
As a brand-new knitter, it was challenging at times for Rita. I was glad she persevered and didn’t throw in the towel. The sweater turned out beautifully, and as you can see from the photograph above, was gifted to her grandson. Now Rita’s going to knit herself a sweater.
