Bley’s Bee Sweater

Bley sent us these great photographs of her Bee Sweater. She was inspired by our version of Zephyr Style’s knitting pattern Glee, and knit hers in Koigu KPM yarn like we did.

However, Bley made some clever modifications to suit her needs and style. First, she seamed the neck opening, instead of using hooks and eyes, for a notched-neck look.

Then she added a crewel-work bee to really make it her own. Bley’s Bee Sweater is a great example of how you can make changes to the designs you knit; you don’t have to just follow the pattern word for word.
