Meet Jared Flood aka Brooklyn Tweed

Jared Flood’s knitting blog Brooklyn Tweed is a regular read for many knitters. Since 2005, Jared has amazed us with his beautiful knitting, his wonderful photography, and his original patterns. If you’ve never read his blog, make yourself a cup of coffee or tea, and settle in for hours of enjoyment.

Made in Brooklyn cover

Jared’s patterns have been published in magazines like Interweave Knits and Vogue Knitting and in books like Son of Stitch N Bitch. This fall, his first pattern book, Made in Brooklyn, was published by Classic Elite Yarns. It contains so many beautiful, wearable garments and accessories for men and women that you won’t know what to make first!

Jared will visit us Friday to Sunday, October 2 to 4 for a book signing and to teach four classes. The following is a list of Jared’s activities during his visit. For the details about the classes – pre-requisites, materials list, and homework – please visit our website.
