Nancy took Beginning Knitting class last month with her mom, her aunt, and a friend. She had recently taught herself to crochet, and wanted to move into knitting.
It’s fun to see someone really catch the knitting bug like Nancy did. This is her first hat and scarf, which came out absolutely beautiful. She took the class projects and expanded on them, adding a little garter stitch to the end of her scarf for a little flair at the ends and attaching a large button on the hat to match the scarf.
Nancy’s already started her first sweater – O Jackie from Mac & Me. I can’t wait to see it when she’s done.

Thank you so much Craig and Kathy!!!! You have been great teachers and sooooo nice to all of us! We’ve started our own little knitting circle on Sundays, and will be back for more classes after the holidays. Maybe before then for some more beautiful yarn!!!! Nancy
