Petal Shawlette

Petal is a pretty shawlette knit with one hank of Farmhouse Cotton Blossom yarn. It provides a little warmth on chilly evenings and a shot of color to brighten any outfit.

Cotton Blossom is a cotton yarn with a lovely crimp. A thread of rayon glides along the waves of the yarn, giving it just a hint of shine. The yarn is hand dyed by Farmhouse Yarns owner Carol Martin, which makes each hank its own work of art.

Blossom Shawlette worn by Christi

Petal was knit and inspired by Christi who began working at Loop recently. Almost every time she comes to work, Christi is wearing a beautifully hand knit shawl. One afternoon Christi and I were debating what to do with one hank of Cotton Blossom yarn. Suddenly, I focused on the shawlette she was wearing and asked her to knit this up.
