A Super Sock Knitting Weekend

It’s almost here – our super sock knitting weekend with special guests Melissa Morgan-Oakes and Carol Sulcoski. I’m just itching to cast on for my first pair of socks knit two at a time!

LEARN TO KNIT TWO SOCKS AT A TIME with MELISSA MORGAN-OAKES

Melissa Morgan-Oakes's Knitting Books

Three spaces remain in each of Melissa’s classes this weekend, March 24 + 25. Take advantage of this chance to learn this fun, time-saving technique from the knitter who literally wrote the books on it!

On Saturday, learn to knit two socks at a time from the cuff to the toe, and on Sunday, learn to knit two socks at a time from the toe to the cuff. Read the full class descriptions, then call us at 215-893-9939 or stop in to sign up!

Local author, designer, and beautiful yarn-dyer Carol Sulcoski returns this weekend with baskets of freshly dyed yarn. Carol dyes in small batches and doesn’t repeat colorways, which makes your one-of-a-kind project even more special. Come early for the best selection!

  1. I can’t wait! I’ve got some great sock yarns for you, including some limited edition bases (think Falkland wool with nylon!) and some current faves (SilkSock)….

  2. Hello, I have bought both of your sock books and have loved learning this method. I have one frustration though. I have tried and tried to find a needle that looks like the one you have on the cover of toe-up and cannot find it, is there any way that you could let me know which one it is?
    Thanks!

  3. I think Melissa uses 40-inch circular needles for her sock knitting method. I don’t know who made the ones in the photograph, but most needle companies make that length or something close to it.
