I’m captivated by the Bias ‘Before & After’ Scarf. So simple and so beautiful. I knit my first with Blue Sky Metalico yarn. I recently finished my second – with just 1 hank of Jade Sapphire’s 2 Ply Cashmere yarn in the color Scarab.
2 Ply Cashmere is 100% cashmere from Mongolia that’s hand dyed in the US. There are 400 yards in each skein, plenty for making a scarf, cowl, or small shawl.
The Bias ‘Before & After’ Scarf pattern calls for one ball of Classic Elite Silky Alpaca Lace. It has 460 yards in each ball, so my 2 Ply Cashmere version isn’t quite as long. It’s still plenty to wear with one wrap, several wraps, or no wraps at all!
I don’t knit with cashmere often, but when I do I quickly remember why it’s so coveted. The softness is unparalleled and every stitch is a pleasure.
I love this!!! What size needle did you use?
Thanks
Diane
