Vintage Wool & Roundabout Cowl

Erika Knight Collection

British designer Erika Knight has made a career of designing yarns and knitwear for companies throughout Europe. Last year, she struck out on her own and introduced The Erika Knight Collection. Last month, it arrived in the United States and here at Loop!

The Collection consists of 3 yarns: worsted weight Vintage Wool, bulky Maxi Wool, and textured Fur Wool. All three yarns made with 100% British wool and are available in a palette of neutral and fashion-forward shades.

Roundabout Cowl by Antonia Shankland

Designer Antonia Shankland’s Roundabout Cowl uses four shades of Vintage Wool for a warm and wooly way to bundle up this winter. Knit flat on size 9 needles and seamed at the end, it’s an easy project for knitting on-the-go or with friends!

Here are a few color combinations we think would make great Roundabouts.

Roundabout Color Combinations

Color Combination 1 – drizzle, flax, wisteria, and mulberry.
Color Combination 2 – gorgeous, mulberry, flax, drizzle.
Color Combination 3 – bambi, flax, leighton, pitch.
Color Combination 4 – flax, bambi, drizzle, and dark.

The cowl in the photograph was knit with Color Combination 1. The rest are additional color combinations for you to choose from. To make Roundabout, you’ll need 2 skeins of each color. The pattern is free; click here for your copy.
