I’ve always been a fan of ponchos. Maybe it’s because I grew up in the 1970s when all the cool kids wore them, but I think they look great. So I was happy to find the Easy Folded Poncho pattern. It’s simple and elegant – perfect for showing off a beautiful yarn.
For our poncho, we used Lana Vida Hannah. It’s ultra-soft blend of fine merino, baby alpaca, and cashmere is delightful to knit with and makes a warm fabric with gorgeous drape. We chose the color Rust, a warm orange that fits right in with your fall wardrobe.
The poncho, which is one size fits all, took 4 skeins of Hannah. The pattern includes an optional cowl neck collar, for which you’d need a fifth skein.
For strolls in the park and shopping trips in the city, the Easy Folded Poncho is a chic way to keep warm!
