Tumbling Gypsy Cowl

Tumbling Gypsy Cowl

After seeing Laura’s fantastic Bulky Gypsy Cowl, I wanted to knit with Gypsy Garden too. I took home a hank of Gypsy Garden yarn in Stardust and a ball of Rowan’s new yarn, Tumble. I used the Tumble to create a ribbed border on either side of a stockinette field of Gypsy Garden.

The soft Tumble looks like snow and the stockinette really shows off Gypsy Garden’s beautiful embellishments. The cowl worked up super fast and looks great on.

A few color combinations that I like are shown above. From left to right, they are Apple Tumble and Emerald Gypsy Garden, Marshmallow Tumble and Stardust Gypsy Garden (the combination I used), and Indigo Tumble and Cosmic Gypsy Garden.

Here’s the pattern, so you can knit your own!
