Hine Sweater

One of our most enjoyed pastimes in the shop is show & tell for finished projects! There’s nothing quite like the triumph of casting off, weaving in those ends & holding up your new knit saying, “Look what I made!”.

Hine in Classy Yarn

Craig recently completed this adorable sweater, called Hine (pronounced hee-nay). He says he loved it for the sweet lace sleeve and the shoulder button detail. And he managed to finish up in just 2 nights during a recent snow storm- that always feels good, doesn’t it?!

Hine Sweaters Finished Hine sweaters from Ravelry users clockwise from top right: eversosmall, krissie, mysweetsabina & ummashin.

Look at all these cute kids & their sweaters! Hine is knit top down, with lace panels for the sleeves, and a button closure at the shoulder. Layer this over a long sleeve tee, add a ruffly skirt & leggings and your little one is ready for spring!

Craig knit his with Dream in Color Classy Yarn in the cool fire colorway. Classy is a super springy superwash merino, hand dyed in deep rich hues. Each skein has 250 yards and 100 grams. Craig knit the 1 year old size with just one skein!

Dream in Color Classy Dream in Color Classy in fierce scarlet, cool fire, amber glass, spring tickle & lunar zazzle.

Hine is sized for girls age 1 to 6. And it’s written for 3 yarn weights: DK, light worsted, and heavy worsted. Also check out Tama, a handsome version for boys.
