Venta Shrug

Michele Wang designed Venta for us for the debut of Madelinetosh Tosh Sock in our custom color Susquehanna. We love Michele’s designs and knew we could count on her to create something special. So we sent her yarn and said, surprise us!

A few months later, here is Venta. A shrug with a soft, relaxed fit and a geometric lace motif that spans from cuff to cuff. Wear it over a dress or with a t-shirt and jeans. Venta is simple, chic, and easy-to-throw on for a day’s – or night’s – adventures!

Venta Shrug

Venta is knit in one piece. After blocking, the sides are seamed to create the sleeves, and stitches are picked up and knit for the hem. Sleeves are then picked up and knit around each sleeve for the cuff. Venta is written for two sizes, both of which are knit with 3 skeins of Tosh Sock.

Now through August 31, 2014, you’ll receive a complimentary copy of the Venta pattern with your purchase of 3 skeins of Tosh Sock yarn. It is also available for purchase by clicking here.

I like the shawl but I absolutely love the styling in the third photo. The long necklace and gold bag are just perfect.

Michele did the styling – further testament to her excellent taste!
