The Gallery hat has a long ribbed brim for extra warmth over your ears and a slightly slouchy top for a soft, casual look. It’s knit with just 1 skein of our Studio yarn that’s 100% American made!

We used Watercolor, a bright medium blue, but all of the colors will make a terrific hat. Pick your favorite shade and follow the pattern below!
One size, will fit 18-22 inch head circumference.
Loop Studio (100% superwash merino wool; 100g / 350 yds): 1 skein, shown in Watercolor.
16-inch US6 (4mm) circular needle
6 sts = 1 inch in Stockinette stitch
stitch marker, tapestry needle
k2tog – knit next two stitches on left needle together as one.
CO 128 sts. Place marker and join in the round being careful not to twist.
Round 1: *K2, p2; repeat from * to end. Repeat round 1 for 7 inches.
Round 1: Knit. Repeat round 1 for 6 inches.
Round 1: *K2, k2tog; repeat from * to end.
Round 2 and 4: Knit.
Round 3: *K1, k2tog; repeat from * to end.
Round 5: *K2tog; repeat from * to end.
Round 6: *K2tog; repeat from * to end.
Round 7: *K2tog; repeat from * to end.
Cut yarn leaving 8 inch tail. Thread tail through tapestry needle, draw through remaining stitches and pull closed.
Weave in tail on inside of hat.
