Kelbourne Woolens is hosting a knitalong for their Aleda shawl that starts May 1. Co-owner Kate Gagnon Osborn designed Aleda for their book Little Things, and now co-owner Courtney Kelley wants to knit one for herself – it’s easy to see why!
Aleda is knit with two skeins of The Fibre Company’s Canopy Fingering. It’s not a new yarn, but it’s new to us and we love it. It’s a soft, smooth blend of baby alpaca, merino wool, and bamboo from viscose that’s kettle-dyed in fantastic heathered shades. Combined with Aleda’s leaf and bud motifs, it’s a perfect spring shawl!
