Compass Cowl, December 9
Sunday, December 9 and 16 from 1:30 to 3:00 PM
Cables are fun to knit, add beautiful texture and interest to your project, and best of all – aren’t as hard as they look!
Learn to knit cables from a chart while making Kate Osbourne’s beautiful Compass Cowl.
Materials: Compass Cowl pattern, 1 or 2 hanks of Kelbourne Woolens Scout, depending on which size cowl you’re making, or an equivalent DK-weight yarn, size US4 and US6 16-inch circular needles, stitch markers, tapestry needle, and cable needle.
Homework: Please come to the first class with the ribbing completed. We are not covering a tubular cast on in this class, so if you aren’t familiar with it, use a long tail cast on.
Skill level: This class is for graduates of Knit 2 or those who are comfortable knitting and purling in the round, and have cabled previously.
