Kirigami is a beautiful mix of modern style and classic technique! This terrifically tessellated hat is made using just knits and purls. In this class, you’ll learn to read a chart without cables or colorwork.
Materials: Kirigami pattern, 2 skeins of Brooklyn Tweed Arbor or comparable DK weight yarn, US4 16-inch circular needle, US5 16-inch circular and doublepoints. Optional notions: Hilighter tape for ease of chart reading.
Homework: Please come to class with your hat ribbing completed.
Skill Level: This is suitable for graduates of Knit 2 or those who are comfortable knitting and purling in the round.
