Mittens, December 4

Tuesday, December 4, 11, and 18 from 6:00 to 7:30 PM

Mittens are fun and easy to knit – and they make great gifts! In this class you’ll learn to knit a thumb gusset, shape the top, and pick up and knit the thumb.

Materials: The World’s Simplest Mittens pattern, enough worsted or chunky weight yarn for the size mitten you’re making (the pattern includes fingering or DK-weight options, but we think worsted and chunky are best for class), double-pointed needles in size to get gauge, stitch markers, waste yarn, and tapestry needle.

Homework: Please come to the first class with the ribbing completed.

Skill level: This class is for graduates of Knit 3 or those who are comfortable knitting and purling in the round on double-pointed needles.
