Furrow Cowl

A long weekend always calls out for a new knitting project, and our Furrow Cowl is the answer! Knit with just 2 skeins of Rowan’s Summer Tweed, Furrow is a simple, relaxing project for leisurely summer days.


We hope you find some time to knit & enjoy our free pattern during the upcoming holiday weekend!

One size fits all. 32 inch circumference, 6 inches tall.

Rowan Summer Tweed (70% silk, 30% cotton; 50g /131 yds): 2 balls.

Size 9 (5.5mm) 24-inch circular needle.
Stitch marker and darning needle.

BO bind off
CO cast on
K knit
P purl

CO 120 sts. Place marker and join in the round, being careful not to twist.

Knit 3 rounds.

Rounds 1-4: Purl.
Rounds 5-8: Knit.

Rep Rounds 1-8 , five more times.

Purl 4 rounds.

Knit 3 rounds.

BO loosely.
